James Anchovy was the brave Prawntrooper who once again made his way to the Bescot/Banks/WTF Stadium. Blues were unchanged from the win against Bury, because we still have no kitman.
First half and after 17 mins it’s Coxy at the far post after good work from 4Tuna and Wrighty. Big Ox makes good saves again, and James says it’s Lenny the defensive monster again, he’s all over the pitch, Blues are playing 100mph, hope we don’t run out of puff! Second half and 4Tuna shoots just wide, Coxy and the Poet come close, but with 5 mins injury time Blues are hanging on and it’s Big Ox again saving late on. But Blues see it out and James says Finally it’s a good defensive display from the centre backs and the keeper together – rather than one or the other!
