James Anchovy travelled from Prawn Towers to Bradfordshire hoping to see the Mighty Shrimpers win their last away game of the season.
First half and it’s a bit cagey, but Bradfudd are targeting the Blues left flank with Elvis and the Kypper finding it tough. Good save from Big Mark Oxley and Dru comes close, Fudd head over from a good chance. Halfo 0-0 and James says ” Bradford slightly edging it but we’re keeping them at bay”.
Second half and Fudd are on top with Big Ox making yet another stunning double save. “You can see why they’re chasing the playoffs” says James. But Kights comes on for Theo and Blues get on top, Macca tees up Whitey for a great header, 1-0! Blues pile on the pressure and Dru surges forward to set up 4Tuna for a shot which loops over the keeper for 2-0! Coxy almost gets a birthday goal and Blues hold out for the win.
