The Mighty Shrimpers made it a 4×4 weekend with this satisfying thrashing of Girlyham in the Estuary Derby. In came Theo, Timmo and Kights.
First half and Blues storm into the lead through a Turner header FROM A CORNER! 55 corners since the last goal from a corner kick. Then Theo smacks in a volley, Kights heads in after Macca hits the bar, and amazingly Macca heads in FROM A CORNER!! 4-0 after 40 mins, how can it get any worse for the Kents? Easy, Gills captain flies into Theo and gets sent off. Halfo 4-0 and the Kents are starting to go home!
Second half and it’s a 0-0 draw as Blues should score more but luck and poor finishing save the Kents from the thrashing they deserve.
