SUFC 2 Brighton 0 (Chickadee Trophy)

SUFC v Brighton ctThe Prawnzone crew of three help to boost the crowd to 1200 at Roots Hall. The 1st Group game in the Checkacrowd Trophy was watch by Prawn Connery, Jerri Prawniwell and  Fish Walsh. When asked how much he paid for a ticket, Fish said £800. Not the entire crowd, Fish!

A good performance and a comfortable victory with 7 changes, Antoine FerdsinNandos playing an hour,  Whitey fighting for a starting place. It was a quiet Roots Hall with a pre-season feel but Blues soon got into it. Brightnasty had a few talented young players but they couldn’t match the Blues tempo and experience. 35 mins and Monkfish Moons got a lovely through ball and he struck it like he was adamant it was going in. In the second half a well deserved goal after good build up play from Kipper Kyprianou made it 2-0.

Stand out players were Kipper and Whitey.
