The Little Shrimpers welcomed the Mighty Rovers to the humble Hall and we doffed our caps to the uncrowned champions of our little division.

The team took to the pitch in Coker T-shirts to wish the lad well. Get well soon Cokes!

Nick Prawnby, Prawn Connery, Fish Walsh and James Anchovy report.

First half and it’s the Blues (United) who take the game to the Blues (Rarely) and it’s no surprise when Lenny slots home at the far post. Rarely are rocked and justice is served when ex-Burnley player Kightly slams home for 2-0. Halfo can’t come soon enough for the soon-to-be-champions.

Second Half and Rarely get one back from good old Mulgrew, once on loan with the little old Shrimpers. United are under the cosh but hold on and come back into the game, having the temerity to nearly score against the champions-elect.

Prawnzone would like to apologise to Blackburn Rarely for taking the three points and upsetting the away fans who should not have had to see their champions being beaten. We most humbly apologise to BRFC and their manager Mr Melton Mowbray.
