A full squad of Prawntroopers swarmed to Roots Hall but it was Fish Walsh’s birthday and he was quick to say that we always lose on his big day! He is now officially banned from having any more birthdays, call it a leap-century. Lenny was back in but Whitey missed out.
First half and Blues are doing ok but not giving the Franchise keeper much grief. Lots of crosses across the goal but Ranger well marshalled, Demi shoots wide, Coxy, Lenny, all have half chances. MK have chances too, Demi off the line, Walton saving well. Prawn Connery says “We’re superior in possession but need some of the well worked moves coming off.” Halfo 0-0.
Second half it’s MK who take the lead with bloody Walsh! Thanks Fish!! Woody hits the post but it’s ex-Blue Reeves taking advantage of a dodgy offside decision and slotting home after an hour. MK nearly get three, great save from Walton, the FerdsinNandos hits the post aswell. Coxy gets a well late penalty for 1-2 but time’s up and Blues have blown a great chance to leapfrog MillYawn.
