The Mighty Shrimpers took on playoff hopefuls Halifax who had a mean defence away from home….which Blues promptly cracked open!
First half and Henry Sandat chases Wreck-it-Ralph’s thru ball and slots through the keepers legs for 1-0 after just 3mins. A well organized Fax side didn’t crumble and had chances of their own, but the Blues defence kept them at bay. Halfo 1-0.
Second half and Fax start strong with Collin having to save well. Fax are causing Blues problems. And it’s welcome back to Cav Miley on 72mins as Blues’ Brooklyn Kabongolo has a shot cleared off the line before a great run from Ralph crosses the ball for Gus Scott Morriss to guide home on 79mins. But GSM isn’t done for the day as Bridgey crosses for Gus to head home on 85mins for a great win against the division’s meanest defence (apparently).
