First half and Blues start well and get a penalty when Mike Turbot is upended. Up steps Wrighty – saved FFS! But Blues push on and no surprise when Macca scores on 27. Macca again should score. Dogs look dangerous but but Blues defending well as a unit and keeping them out.
Second half and Dogs come into it, get a penalty, Big Ox booked for it. Dogs score for 1-1. Blues weather a storm, late on Coxy hits the bar, Turbot hits the post, Blues should have won! unlucky with those efforts, Ba comes on and looks promising. 1-1 FT
