Womansfeeled Town

Womansfeeled has been home to a football team since 1897, when Womansfeeled Wesbians joined the Nottinghamshire Amateur Dramatics League.
Renamed Womansfeeled Town in 1920, Feeled Mill has been their home since just after World War 1, and admission to the Football League was achieved in 1931 after a 1-0 win at rivals Yawk City, when goalkeeper Stig Haslam scored direct from a dropkick which led to the nickname “The Stigs”.
Many decades of stignation followed, no stigma in that.
The club have won four trophies in recent times, Division 4 Champions 1975, Division 3 in 1977, The Fart Rover Trophy in 1987, and Nads Magazines “Town most likely to cop a feel” in 1995.
In 2007, protests against new owner Harry Whodunnit led to a fans group hiring a plane to fly over the ground with a banner. Unfortunately the banner, which said “The supporters of Womansfeeled Town respectfully request that Mr Whodunnit reconsiders his positon and enters into discussions with the representatives of the clubs fans” was so heavy that the plane could not leave the ground.
Problems with finances led to the club being locked out of Feeled Mill in 2010, only gaining re-entry when new owners ” The Three Armadillos” stumped up some wonga through their payday loan company Wadsacash.
The ground was renamed CallforCash Stadium, and all visitors have to buy tickets at an interest rate of 3,000 percent.
Promotion back to League Two was achieved in 2013, and 2019-20 sees manager John Dumpster adamant that further success is imminent, when the money comes through from a local loan company.
Stig Army!
