Not many Shrimpers thought that the Blues would get much from this game, Wiggers being top of the League and all that. But we expected more than an embarrassing defeat with ZERO shots on target – the Wiggers goal was an OG!
Ted Smiff went in goal for his first game this season and was given no chance with the goals.
McCann Potatoes scored after just 9 mins, Griggs Bakers scored on 17 and 36 mins, and Jacobs Crackers scored on 50 mins. Blues consolation was Morgans Rum on 74 mins, an own goal.
