The Mighty Shrimpers travelled to Bogfordshire looking to end their terrible record at Khaziworth Road. Fish Walsh got his penicillin jabs and sent pix and report despite the sore arse. 900 Shrimpers brave the shocking away end in a 9k crowd.
First half and what we didn’t want was an early goal for the Shatters. Which they got after 2 mins. Ox saves but can’t stop the follow up. Hopper scores and gets it disallowed yet again, Ox saves, Elvis has a chance but then gives away a silly foul for a Loo-Town pen, 2-0. Halfo 0-2 with only one shot on goal. “Game over” says Fish, “this ref is crap”. Referee is of course Mr Trevor Kettle.
Second half and Loo-Town are on top, Big Ox has to make several good saves. Eventually Hyam, McGoalsky and Theo come on but to no avail. Half chances but not working the keeper. Lots of Hollywood passes attempted but it’s not working. Loo-town slow it down, Demi lucky not to get a red for iffy challenge as Blues get frustrated. Full time 0-2.
