The Blues travelled out west to try and forget the loss at Loo-Town. Demi stayed in midfield and Kights came back in and Theo started instead of Coxy. And Manager Chris Powell stayed in the stands.
First half and it’s a strong start from Blues but it’s Rarely hitting the crossbar with a shot which Captain Ox obviously had well covered. Theo ties to resist the defenders attempt to swap shirts but the ref says no pen. 40 mins and Kights crosses and Hopper crashes home, 1-0 Blues! Then Theo has a goal disallowed and Whitey has a shot saved as Blues push on. Halfo 1-0.
Second half and Capitano Ox saves well, Theo Mantz and Hopps go close as Blues hold out, much to the relief and delight of the 350 Shrimpers!
