Shrimpers didn’t expect much from this FA Cup 1st round tie, but still ended up gutted as Blues contrived to lose the penalty shoot out.
First half and a familiar story as BWFC go in 1-0 at halfo with Blues not showing much up front as usual.
Second half and it’s soon 0-2 but Goodship and Egbri strike back for 2-2 to send the game into extra time.
Extra time and yet again Blues go behind from a penalty, but Olayinka scores a superb solo effort for 3-3. Blues hit the woodwork twice which comes back to haunt them as Rush and finally Demi miss the penalties to send Blues crashing out.
