The form table was upside down as the top two teams clashed at a wintry Roots Hall. Sir Chris Powell had kicked a black cat with Blues having a dozen fit players – and a few ugly ones. Theo started up front with Coxy.
First half and It’s another fine mess as Stanley come on strong, but Blues take the lead as Mantz follows up Coxy’s shot and then Coxy shoots home for 2-0 on 23 mins. Tough luck on Stanley but Blues are finally getting the rub of the green. Halfo 2-0.
Second half and it’s Theo who wraps it up at 3-0 with a cool finish for a deserved goal.
