Rochy Horror Show as spooky Dale sneak up behind the Blues and scare the hell out of us.
First Half and Prawn is loving the green and black Dale kit (??). Blues slow to start again and Bents saves, corner comes to nothing. Macca wins a free kick, no chance, Macca beats his man and Pig is – just wide! Lenny impressing the Prawn posse. Dale bossing midfield though, Whitey shoots just wide. Lovely control of the ball from Browntrout, chance for Pig but ball flashes wrong side of him. Digger has 2 shots, Blues have shots saved, then Lenny is clattered – penalty! Only a yellow for the keeper but Mooney scores, 1-0! Great move, Pig to Macca, Lenny turns and scores 2-0! Halftime 2-0, even the ref’s playing well. Browntrout will be telling the players to push on, surely. Or shutting up shop, don’t call me Shirley.
Second Half and Dale make 3 changes. Pig has a chance for 3-0 but Dale deflect one in! 2-1.Whitey off with a vampire bite, Rea on, Dale pushing for a goal. Rose pricks us with a goal, 2-2!Browntrout takes Macca and Digger off, horror subs, ghostly boos from the crowd. Bents saves again to keep a point.
Full time 2-2. Glad of the point.
