The players took to the Roots Hall pitch under the floodlights for what many fear is the last evening game here before HMRC away. The team had had a charming fireside chat with Uncle Ron and had been told that their wages for January may never arrive. So this result is testament to the fantastic team spirit cultivated by the management team, amazing job.

First half and it was a dour game with the Fax taking the lead on 45mins when Debrah squirmed the ball into the net with only a large helping of his hand. Halfo 0-1.

Second half and Henry Sandat has to replace Harry Cardwell at the break. This was going to be a stern test for the Blues. But Henry was pushed over and gains a penalty which Jack Bridge slots home on the hour. Blues now push forward and it’s Gus Scott-Morriss with a goal from a corner on 79mins to win it for Blues!

Their third win on the trot in the league, fantastic effort.
