Boxing Day is a good day for the Mighty Shrimpers with many a win recently against teams who ate too many mince pies. Nathan the Bishop’s prayers came true as he keeps his place at No1. Dru comes in, as does Michael Kightly.
First half and the Blues are keeping Oxfart quiet but not offering much themselves. Fart have the ball in the net but gets ruled out for being too smelly and should do better with a chance for Nelly who wellies wide. Coxy almost tees up Theo but he can’t convert. Halfo 0-0, Blues haven’t had a shot on target.
Second half and Oxfart have chances but Kights puts in Theo who does well to cross and Kights heads in for 1-0! Three points for the Blues much to the delight of 600 travelling Shrimpers!
