A good even match with the season needing a kick start. Peterborough start off more lively but the defence holds after the early threats – Blues come back into the game. Blues create some good chances, Hunt and Mooney go close and then Peterborough half clear a free kick, Shrimpers work it back into the box Hunt chance is close – hold on – Barrett still up there gets his foot in it. GOAL! BASHER SCORES!!!
1-0 the forwards continue to have chances to double our lead. But it remains 1-0 at half time.
